COVID 19 Update
Hello everyone,
See below from East Suffolk District Council, confirming Suffolk is in Tier 2.
It looks very much as though we will not be able to open, only possibility may be people from the same household, even if this were possible it would not be economically sensible and impossible to police. If in 3 weeks time when our Tier Level could go back to One it would only be a few days before we are due to close for two weeks over the festive period.
Unless I have misread the situation it would sadly look as though we will be closed until at least January 4th.
I and the Committee wish all our members a safe and enjoyable Christmas period. Be careful and lets look forward to a better 2021.

Graham Catchpole , Chairman

See below details of restrictions issued by East Suffolk Council, the same will apply for all our members living in Norfolk who are also in Tier 2.

Suffolk will be in Tier 2 (High) with the rest of the East of England.

From Wednesday 3 December 2020, people in Suffolk will be able to:

• Meet a maximum of six people from other households outdoors

• Go to pubs and bar operating as restaurants, consuming alcohol but only with a substantial meal

• Go shopping but whilst wearing a mask and respecting social distancing rules

• Attend schools, college or university

• Make use of early years childcare

• Go to the gym or leisure centre, whilst following their guidance

• Get a haircut or personal care treatments, whilst following their guidance

• Attend entertainment and sporting events, whilst following their guidance and capacity limits

• Visit places of worship, whilst following their guidance
